When I'm done, I don't wanna feel my legs.

When I'm done, I don't wanna feel my legs. Jes, 22 years old, and at the beginning of a journey to change my life.

So when I moved home while I find a job, I decided to use my time to move in a positive direction. I have given myself a year to lose roughly 120 lbs.

This will be a fitness blog, never a thinspo blog.
This will be positive and body-accepting, never fat shaming or negative.
This blog will include fitness, healthy eating tips, my diet, workouts, etc.

Feel free to ask questions, talk to me, or just observe.

"Not only do I love your blog ( heh found it ) but I also am secretly infatuated with you. K. here we go I got this idea from a spam msg I received on Facebook lol.. You may want to skip your workout today. You may want to quit. But there will be others who push forward. And you will be another day behind.

I was down to 239 on Thursday,

but today I’m weighing in at 242.

This is physically impossible based on calories in vs. calories out over the past two days.

I’m so sick of this. :/

It’s not about how fast you go - It’s about going.

I’m pretty proud of my 12 minute mile. 3 months ago I couldn’t have done it in 20.

Just made the most delicious post-work out meal.

Salad Pita Bowl - 90 calories, 4 grams of fiber
2 scrambled eggs - 120 calories? Lots of protein
Turkey Sausage Links - 140 calories, like 12-16 grams of protein

NOM NOM NOM.

Warmed in the oven. NOM NOM NOM.

Delicious. Highly recommended.

It’s been a while since Weigh-In Wednesday

Last week: 242.7

Today: 240.0

Can’t wait to see a 3 in that middle number!

Seeing improvement in just 3 weeks..

I have been out of shape for years. And on top of that, when I was falling out of shape, I was a college athlete. I played softball - with a coach who emphasized our ability to run springs, base to base, etc.

So I haven’t legitimately run a mile in about 4 years.

Just 3 weeks ago, I took a fitness test for my gym’s Biggest Loser competition.

I couldn’t even finish the mile in 15 minutes. I timed out.

That was September 25th.

Today, October 12th, I ran that same mile in 12:13.

I know that’s still not a very good time.

But for a 240 lb girl who hasn’t ran a mile in 4 years, I am pretty damn proud of myself.
